Die Eifeltour haben wir Ende Mai zu Dritt gemacht.
Nachdem das Wetter bis zu letzt uns zittern ließ, hatten wir vier hervorragende Tage. Nur Sonne und blauer Himmel.
Nachdem ich noch nie in der Eifen war und die Norschleife auf meine “bucket-list” schon lange auf den “Haken” wartet, waren meine Erwartungen relativ groß.
Und sie wurden noch übertroffen – An alle Koblenzer und Eifel-Moped-Fahrer: Ihr hab eine echte schöne Gegend und super Motorrad Elodorado vor der Tür!
Zeitweise kam ich mir vor, wie in Ligurien – nur mit viel besserer Straßenqualität. Ein Traum. Geile Kurven und Täler.
Wir sind aus den Routenvcorschlägen im Wesentlichen die “Nordroute” und die “Südroute” gefahren, mit ein paar eingebauten Abstechern, z.B.: nach Hambach zum Braunkohle Tageabbau.
Apropos: Hambach – das ist mal eine Kiesgrube! Da schlägt meine Enduro-Herz hoch: Mal einen ganzen Tag lang wie bekloppt in dieser irrsinnig großen Grube rumfahren….
Un dann war da noch die Nordschleife!
Dazu muss ich sagen, dass ich da schon ein bisserl respekt vor hatte. Aber gefreut und aufgeregt war ich natürlich auch.
Also haben wir uns 2 Runden online gekauft und sind zum EIngang gefahren. Leider war der Ring wegen eines Unfalls gesperrt – das bliebt auch 2 Stunden lang so.
Erstmal enttäuscht haben wir dann eine Tour über das Land gemacht und versuchten es abends wieder.
Um 17:30 hatten wir dann auch Glück und konnten fahren – nach einer Runde war aber auch schon wieder Schluss, wieder wegen eines Unfalls 🙁
Diese eine Runde war aber schon sehr geil – das muss ich wieder machen, auch weil ich noch eine Fahrt übrig habe 🙂
TIPP:
- Die Tickets können online gekauft werden, allerding funktioniert der QR-Code Leser an der Schranke nicht zuverlässig. Besser ist es sich an der Ticketbox eine Plastikkarte zu kaufen. Die Funktioniert per NFC und das zuverlässig.
- Geduld mitbringen: Wenn Unfall auf der Strecke ist, dauert es sehr lange, bis Mopeds wieder fahren dürfen. Grund: Die Autos müssen erst den Schmutz (Öl, etc.) von der Strecke fahren.
- AUFPASSEN auf der Strecke – Die Autos sind teilweise viel (!!!) schneller als Mopeds. Also immer den Rückspiegel im Blickwinkel haben.
